Now I Lay Me...

After three years of repeating the "Now I Lay Me" prayer with Cooper each night, he for the first time recited the entire thing for bedtime tonight.  His sweet little whisper and tightly folded hands made me smile the biggest smile!

Now I lay me, down to sleep.  

I pray the Lord, my soul to keep.  

Guide me safely through the night, 

and wake me with the morning light. 

Amen!

I know the little stinker has had it memorized for years, but would never say it all out loud ;)  Finally!!

February Fun

Izzy is starting to take an interest in all the 'pretties' in her drawers... 

Fill em up, empty em out... and the game goes on...

And on this day, she wanted to wear as many as I could get on her head.

Now, if only she would keep one in for once.

Mommy's girl.

This weekend, we were lucky enough to have Adam give us his set of tickets for the Maverick hockey game.  Both kids did great, and Cooper especially LOVED it.  His favorite part was Stomper, the mascot.  

"Go Mavericks!!!!"

He kept his eyes on the ice!  (Not sure what he's counting... he counts EVERYTHING these days!)
