Fall Fun

Two weekends ago, we enjoyed the gorgeous weather and went to the apple orchard to pick apples.  We all had a great time :)

Cooper and Izzy were working on finding the 'perfect' apples

Cooper insisted on wearing the Superman cape...

Carson loved his first apple :)

This is my best pic of all three crazies-it cracks me up!!

Carson had a blast

These two and their Apple faces

Happy fall 2015 :)

Carson was happy just chilling in the Moby wrap for the afternoon

Weeeeee!!

After the orchard, we stopped at mom and Kevin's house for the kids to pick pumpkins

Yeah for cool, crisp weather, crunchy leaves, warm sweaters and snuggling up in our cozy home.  Happy fall!!

8 Month Update

This little guy is so happy :). Check out his wide-mouth grin...

I cannot believe how much older he's looking just since last month!

This photo was quite challenging to get... All he wanted to do was eat the paper.  Look closely and you can see his lips are green from the marker bleeding due to his slobber!

8 mo. stats... size 12 mo clothes, size 3 diapers (soon to fours!!), four 6-oz bottles of milk a day, baby food solids for breakfast and supper, and one solid 2-3 hr nap.

Carson feels like a big shot in the high chair... He loves his Mum mums and anything he can feed himself (which isn't much yet, but he's a master of puffs and tiny chunks of bread!!).  He loves his sippy cup, too!

Although we don't have 100% nighttime consistency, he's getting very close :). Nights he does wake, it's a quick feed and he's back to sleep in minutes.

Our little man is a joy to be around.  He is still so squishy and snuggly, and yet he's getting more and more squirmy to do his own thing.  He loves to sit on the floor, and he's very sturdy now.  Tummy time is a blast for him... He slithers and spins all over the living room, often finding himself backed up under the couch.  He rocks on all fours, but hasn't quite figured out how to move his hands and legs together to actually crawl yet :)

He just started clapping--and is very, very proud. If we say, "yeah Carson!!!" he claps :). He's very curious about everything now, and wants to reach for anything he can get his hands on.

Case in point:

One of his newest things is his "oooh" face.

Helping mom in the kitchen when making a batch of baby purée. Maybe he'll grow up to be a better baker than me (wouldn't take much!).

His goofy expressions crack me up!

So much fun swinging and soaking up the last sun before it gets cold and gloomy...

I'm ready to crawl!!!

He was helping me organize, er--eat, coupons.

My absolute favorite thing is how excited Carson gets to see us.  He jumps up and down in Kris's arms and smiles the biggest smile when he sees me.  Sometimes I even get a squeal of excitement from him :)

We love you little dude!!  Keep up your go-with-the-flow attitude, your smiles, and your giggles.  We cannot believe how fast the time is flying!
