He is about 27 pounds, wears sz 18 mo clothes, still loves his nuk, takes a bit of a bottle before bed, and loves to eat... Even with few teeth, he eats pretty much everything. As long as he can feed it to himself, he's happy.
The cutest new fun is when he brings a book to us to read. He sits right down in our lap, and patiently waits and helps turn pages. He has his favorites, and when he finds one of them, it's a guarantee he'll want to read it.
He loves to play with us and be goofy. Running around the House naked after bath time is his favorite time. He loves to play peek-a-boo by finding something to cover his own face, and he loves being chased.
Carson is a smart little cookie... I realize I could be slightly biased here, but he has really started showing off over the last three months!! He is babbling like crazy and attempting a lot of words all the time. He has a lot of beginning sounds and a few clear words: mommy (MAH-me), daddy (da-DEE), Coo-coo (for Cooper), Zizzy, Apple, hat, yes, buh-bye, puppy, uh-oh, and his own version of thank-you :). He knows a duck says 'Cack Cack' and a cow says 'Mmmmm'. He knows his belly and his toes, blows kisses, gives wide open-mouth kisses and hugs, throws his own diaper into the garbage, and puts his nuk in his crib after naps or in the AM. He thrives on routine, but is very easy-going for the most part :)
Carson likes to brush his mere five teeth every morning with mommy. Yes, only five at this point in time... 2 on bottom, 2 top molars, and 1 bottom molar.
He loves to swing at the park. I think he could swing for hours if I let him. He's starting to get braver climbing, and he has been very close to going head over heels down a slide...
He loves daddy!
He is turning into more and more of a goofball with each passing day. This was at his 15 mo checkup while we were waiting for the doctor. We're boosting his immunity by slobbering on this germ-filled clipboard!
He likes to chalk. He likes to 'draw' with a pencil or a crayon, and especially a marker :). Izzy really would rather he didn't sit on her drawings, but she's learning to be more patient with him...
Big boy in a ball cap!
See? Always finding a way to get into something! We are working hard to remember to shut the bathroom door!
He feels like big stuff when he can walk around and collect 'stuff.'
More fun at the park.
I still love his squishy cheeks, his gummy grins, and his awesome giggle. He is a ton of fun!! Cooper and Izzy are finding more ways to play with him instead of just tolerate his Godzilla-like tendencies. Cooper loves to chase him and tickle him to giggles, and Izzy is helpful when he's cranky by saying the sweetest little things to try to calm him down.
Summer will be an absolute blast!!
