Christmas arrived with wide eyes and happy kids :)
Cooper and Izzy woke up early, of course, and called to us to come downstairs. They had strict instructions not to get out of bed until mom and dad came down with the camera!
The cookies and milk had been gobbled up, the stockings were stuffed and hung with care, and Red was perched on the mantle to watch over things for one more day.
Then we headed upstairs...
Carson got a kid trampoline!
Cooper was rifling through presents so fast I could barely get a picture!
Izzy had asked Santa to 'surprise' her... and she loved the surprise of a backpack full of new art supplies and craft things.
Glitter glue got the biggest 'oooooh!'
Cooper got a Nerf gun. He'd been asking for one for months, and even though he has about ten of them already, he was pumped to get a new one. He was excited to practice hunting with it.
Merry Christmas 2016!
After the gifts, we headed to church, and then we spent the entire day AT HOME! It was glorious.
The kids played with their new toys, nobody did any real chores, we had family nap time, and got to enjoy each other for the day!
