Another weekend, another adventure! We participated in MuckFest MS Twin Cities, with 31 friends and family members. It was A BLAST!!!
We started recruiting people back in late winter for the event, and we were thrilled to get an even bigger team this year. Our team raised close to $2,000. We had a mix of colleagues, friends, and family members on the team, and we couldn't have been more grateful for their support!
A couple former ball players came out to join us--Clair, Abby, and Maddie--and they did plenty of mud-slinging at Jeremy!!
I will not be winning the mother of the year prize this year... I was goofing around at the start line, chucking little chunks of mud at the kids, who were watching with grandma and grandpa... and I got Izzy right in the face with a sloppy, muddy glob. She had mud in her eyes :( I felt soooo bad!!! We got her cleaned up and she was good to go in no time!
For the start, we had to sit in the mud, and face a water truck... that sprayed us right in the face while we had to scoot on our butts back under the start line.
Big Balls was fun, of course!!
Can you tell that's Adam?!?
Amy and Kim swinging, Jeremy climbing out.
Kat, Jake, Pete, and Jeremy
Jeremy totally brought this on himself... he got ganged up on coming out of this tube.
We conquered the course!
This was the best team photo we could muster...
The kids had such a fun time in the Little Muckers area. They got just as filthy as we did!!
Me and my muddy man...
The Oak Crest ladies!
We are grateful to our families and friends for their support of an amazing cause. MS research has come so far in recent years, and it's largely due to fundraising efforts. We are hopeful and excited to keep growing our team and growing our fundraising goals!
